Harry and his team demonstrated absolute professionalism from start to finish.
We began gathering quotes early in the year from around four companies, and Harry and Wren Builders immediately stood out. First impressions really do count—Harry arrived on time, listened carefully to our ideas, and offered thoughtful suggestions of his own. Together, we developed a plan that not only respected our budget but also maximized our garden space while preserving an old Cornish stone wall/hedge.
Harry provided a ballpark estimate on the day, explaining that he’d need a couple of days to finalise the quote after pricing up materials. True to his word, he got back to us with a clear, transparent quote a few days later. We were happy and booked the work for late April, leaving a small deposit. He estimated the project would take around 5–7 days.
On day one, Harry and two team members arrived right on time. After a quick confirmation of the plan, they got straight to work. When I say these guys work hard, I mean it—around 16 tonnes of topsoil were barrowed up a slope in just a day and a half!
They completed the job in just four days—well ahead of schedule, but without cutting any corners. The workmanship was of a very high standard, and the finish exceeded our expectations. Communication was excellent throughout; Harry kept us updated and always checked in before any major steps to ensure we were happy.
At the end of the project, everything was tidied up meticulously, and we were left with the garden of our dreams. It turned out even better than we could have imagined.
We can’t thank Harry and his team enough and will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, now and for years to come.
