Hi, I’m Dave, owner of Meadow Mutts Cornwall. Nestled in the heart of Polgooth’s peaceful countryside, our family-run dog care service offers a warm, welcoming home-from-home experience for your four-legged companions. Meadow Mutts is a truly dog-welcoming, dog-friendly place, and Dave’s empathy with and care for his charges is evident from the start. The house and dog quarters are very clean and well-run, and it’s clear that a great deal of time and effort has been devoted to all aspects of animal care and safety. The business is located in a quiet corner of Polgooth (good for nervous or tricky dogs as there’s no through traffic or bustle of constant passers-by) and the relaxed atmosphere allows for good communication to develop between a dog and his/her human carer. You really get the sense that Dave has both the time and the will to do his best for the dogs in his charge; he clearly enjoys being out and about on a range of walks as much as the dogs do. He is efficient, punctual and considerate, and it’s a pleasure to come across someone doing a job for which he’s so ideally suited. Win, win, for dogs, owners and, I imagine, for Dave too. Highly recommended.

Meadow Mutts take such good care of Gilbert for us I can’t recommend them enough!
From the initial home visit to find out all about our boy’s foibles (he’s scared of the car) to their flexibility of services, great updates via pics and vids, and of course the varied walks and secure daycare.

Fantastic few days in Cornwall. Our Dog Bosun (Bichon Frise) stayed with Dave, Lisa and Maggie. He usually suffers with anxiety but he absolutely adored the place. Such caring animal lovers and beautiful house with plenty of room. I’m certain he would have stayed and forgot about us. Enabled us to see the inner sites before all rejoining as a family for plenty of doggy time during the rest of our stay in Cornwall. Thank you ever so much Dave, Lisa & Family.
