Ricki saved the day. Having had a nightmare experience with Easee customer support (there is none) a friend recommended Wake Electrical.
Ricki answered on my first call (a big star for that alone) and when I explained the problem he used his experience and connection with Easee to get them to engage with him on the problem. He knew what to do and how do it and the problem was fixed in a couple of days. Ricki kept me informed of progress and attended to the unit to effect the fix.
It had hitherto taken nearly two weeks of Easee ignoring me and refusing to answer my emails once I had done everything they had asked me to do, such as dismantling the charger and sending photos.
Lesson one: Don’t buy an EV charger from Easee; their customer service is appalling.
Lesson two: Call Wake Electrical if you want a knowledgeable and reliable person to get the job done.
