Welcome to SWES Group Ltd, formally South West Electrotechnical Services Ltd. Our business is currently Electrical, Ventilation & Property Development with a renewables branch coming soon covering Solar PV.
We are Approved Contractor Electricians under the NICEIC membership scheme Part P and under the same NICEIC Renewables – Domestic Ventilation to Part F.
SWES Group Ltd provides friendly and professional design, installation, test and commissioning services across Cornwall for all domestic and commercial electrical and ventilation projects. We cover all areas across the county for various projects, to include new builds, retrofits for both Electrical & Ventilation, with full house ventilation systems to include MVHR and PIV of which are our areas of speciality, but not limited to.
SWES Group Ltd also offers tailored Periodic Inspection Testing and Service Maintenance Contract Agreements to suit all Commercial business needs. We also cover all elements of property development to include Kitchen and Bathroom renovations which works well to accompany our other services under one project umbrella.

Electric vehicles are an increasingly attractive option, due to their lower running costs and the expanding choice of models available so more and more people are having electric vehicle charge points installed at their home or place of work accordingly. SWES Ltd are able to offer installation on all charger models, with grants available via the OLEV Government Scheme on “approved smart models only” currently at £350 per charge point, up to 2 per household and up to £3000 off the purchase price of their vehicle.

We have had a PIV system installed by Paul. This unit will work best in winter but already we can tell the air is cleaner in the house and the paint work is less sticky. Paul has said this is due to less moister now being in the air and on the woodwork. He was very clean and professional during the install and left on mess what so ever I wold recommend his services and this product to anyone.

Ev charging point installed in – not a straightforward installation on this old grade 2 property due to location on due to boiler earth being to close to the originally suggested location. Paul was able to suggest a better location by laying the power cable around the conservatory , thats been so neatly installed its hardly noticeable . Problems with the house’s poor earths failing tests were all resolved and the smart charging point works a treat . I will be using SWES again more electrical work we need to do on this recently bought property.

Paul carried out a full rewire of a renovation project, and installed a PIV and ventilation. He was at all times professional and very tidy, offered considered advice and kept us very well informed throughout the project. Kerry was so helpful with ordering too. Strongly recommended.

From initial first visit to view/quote the job to the end, Paul was exceptionally easy to work with and very flexible where other tradesman had let us down – causing a shift in the original schedule. He works tirelessly to complete a job and went over and above whilst doing so, completing further additional works which were in our best interest without hesitation. He was also very willing to advise on other Qs we raised and is clearly an outstanding, very professional and experienced tradesman. I would highly recommend Paul. We asked him to get some power to our garage that has been an on going project for two years. The last two days he has been out in the rain making this happen. I come home today to see Paul out on our drive wiring up our mains cable to the garage. I told him to go home and do it another day. The rain ☔️ was vertical at this point. Paul wouldn’t leave until we had power to the garage so we could turn the lights on and use the power points.
