I thoroughly recommend Ben to take care of your plastering/ rendering needs.
I don’t really have many contacts in the building world. I had previously employed the services of someone who had good reviews on Facebook (the first big mistake ! ) This company basically ruined the brand new inside walls with extremely poor quality uneven/ wonky rendering, It has all been quite depressing to be honest.
The next step was to try and find someone who might be able to sort this poor quality job out. I ignored Facebook and found Bens contact details on this very site.
I then arranged a site visit with Ben. He basically told me everything that the previous company had done wrong. (even more depressed by now ! )
Fortunately he also had a solution to the issues which involved a lot of work re doing the internal walls and then finally silicon rendering over the top which left everything nice and square.
I don’t think it’s all that easy finding someone to put right other peoples work but Ben was up for the challenge thankfully.
He then went on to render the whole outside of the building which was better for him as it is all his own work.
I’m very happy with both the jobs he did for me and I will be engaging his services again once we need some work doing inside the house in the future.
We seemed to be on the same wave length as far as the job/ work was concerned which was good for me as I do like things done correctly.
Another thing to note, especially as the job took a few weeks to carry out is that everyone in my family, even the dogs, were comfortable and happy with his presence at our home.
I would have put up some more pictures here to show his work but it seems I can only put up one.
Anyway, you won’t be disappointed if you should employ his services 🙂

I can’t recommend Ben enough. He came along after we’d already had someone in previously and decided to stop them as the work was awful. The difference is outstanding, you can tell Ben is a professional. From the moment I contacted him, he has been polite, always on time, communication has been spot on, he puts a full days shift in and leaves everything so tidy.
I honestly can’t thank Ben enough for restoring my faith in people. Our room just looks stunning, especially the window, which I know was a tricky thing to do. Ben isn’t a jack of all trades master of none, plastering is the only thing he does so he knows it inside out and it shows with his professionalism and knowledge. Any questions we had he would happily help with and ways to save money but still do the job right.
I honestly wish I could have found him sooner and saved a heck of a lot of stress because you know he leaves you with a cracking job done as he’s a perfectionist. The corners are smart and sharp. Thank you so much Ben!

Ben did an excellent job on our utility – now dining – room. He did exactly as we asked within the agreed timeframe. Our room now looks amazing and it wasn’t the easiest job to do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will definitely be having him back to do other work for us.

Could not recommend Ben more highly for plastering services. We chose Shoreline Plastering out of 5 other contractors who quoted for our job.
We liked his pricing approach of per day cost plus materials. It was easy to know how much the job was going to cost based on the number of days. Ben was also so friendly and could tell he was a family man.
His work as you can see from the photos is faultless. He turned our old conservatory which we had rebuilt (self build) into a room to be part of the house.
It was no mean feat as no two walls were the same. Ben plaster boarded and skimmed the ceiling and walls plus made good the walls where the old doors were.
We have used contractors in the pass and are used to ‘Trade hours’ not on this occasion Ben worked 8am-9pm one day and full 9am-6pm on others, we really feel we got great value for money and have already booked him in for some other work for the future!
I know Ben isn’t going to like these half dry photos but wanted to leave a review as soon as we could!

Ben came to repair a bellcast on the outside of my property before I could put it up for sale. The job was done in a day and to a very high standard, I will be using his services again in the future and would highly recommend him.
