Built from the ground-up by Rachael Hunt, Sew and Fabric has positioned itself as the leading haberdashery shop in Cornwall. Rachael delights in meeting fellow enthusiasts. It doesn’t matter what you use to create – sewing, knitting, crochet and other skills all are welcomed. Over the last few years the shop has evolved and now in new premises has become a comprehensive one stop shop for sewists. We can offer hands-on experience with sewing machines and lessons once you have bought your machine. We stock a variety of accessories to enhance your craft.

Wonderful shop, a treasure trove for all crafts. Lovely meeting times in Yak & Yarn, where you can offer each other help. Just small groups which are so friendly. Nobody can be kinda than Rachel for helping you out with things, & such wonderful repairing to things. Can’t recommend this shop highly enough so friendly, makes you feel at ease straight away. Bowling Car Park just around the corner.

This is a lovely shop, Rachel is very knowledgeable and helpful, the shop is a treasure trove of fabrics, haberdashery, patterns and knitting supplies. I took my misbehaving overlocker in and it was fixed the same day for much less than I expected. Highly recommended if you’re in the area

Came here for a “Get to know your sewing machine” course and it was brill. The car park is a stones throw from shop so didn’t have to carry my machine too far. The classroom upstairs is well equipped and comfortable and the teacher was very helpful and encouraging. The shop is wonderfully stocked with everything you need for all your crafty needs and the staff are so friendly & helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I came away feeling alot more confident & excited in using my sewing machine and cannot wait to get started as i know Sew & Fabric will be there to help with any problems or questions i may have.
