Robert Ryan is always friendly, answers messages promptly on email or telephone. He comes when he says he will and, if he feels advice is needed, he will advise on a way forward. His prices are reasonable, subject to cost of materials etc. We have been using his services for around 9 years in a variety of jobs and everything he has done has been extremely satisfactory.

We renovated a bungalow and Rob combined an old kitchen with a little bedroom opened up a big space. He moved the door installed a window and fit in a secondhand kitchen which was very tricky job and he did it excellent job we’ve really enjoying the space. Rob Ryan did an excellent job of removing artexing from walls and ceilings and replastering my whole house, painting, changing doors, removing old and laying new carpets, adding new electric points plus plenty more,
He was always on time and trustworthy, I left him in the house whilst I went to work.
Had a problem with a door after he finish and he came straight back to fix it no quibbles.
He kept to the timescale he gave me and informed me of all prices of work and purchases weekly.
Rob is very good at what he does and will give you advice if you are unsure, he is honest as I thought I needed a new window but it was just seals which he did.
You dont get many honest people like him.

But everything was handled extremely professionally . Rob is 100% reliable – He has never let me down once – This indeed a rarity in today’s world. His communication is prompt and crystal clear, which iis vital when you’re not in the property or at work. Rob always keeps me up to date before and during a job – He listens intently to what I want/need and uses questions to probe/tease out the nuance to ensure he fully understands the ask/remit. He explains the issues/challenges/constraints in laymen terms and actively listens – He provides options and mitigations to enable me as the customer to make an informed decision about the how and the materials. Rob is always able to provide a well thought through mitigation/solution.
Rob’s time management is excellent and his activities/tasks are clearly defined and his invoicing transparent.
Robs work is first class – Whatever the job/activity (and he can turn his hand to multiple disciplines) Robs delivers a quality outcome – He does what he says he is going to do. I’ve been very happy with all the work he has completed for me and I have employed him numerous times – Reliability, conscientiousness and quality work at competitive prices is a winning formula.
Rob cares about what he does, he treats your property with respect and he goes above and beyond to help/support. Rob has been very valuable to me in the early stages of my renovations, when I was not in the property, sending me photos & videos and going above & beyond dealing with deliveries to the house on numerous occasions.
