Laptop & Computer Full Service £35
When we service a laptop or a computer we strip the machine down to motherboard level and the first thing we do is remove your hard drive and backup your important files and make sure they have no viruses or infections , then we test the machines hard drive and ram for errors , We clean away any dust build and apply new thermal past where needed to keep your machine running cool , We then rebuild and then reinstall the operating system and all associated programs and updates , then your machine is stress tested over a 12 hour period to make sure there is no issues, then your machine is cleaned and polished

Computer viruses and malware are a major problem especially as our life’s are more reliant on technology so having your machine kept up to date and secure is very important , When a machine comes in to the workshop we use our knowledge and some superb software packages that can seek out and destroy a wide variety of infections including malware , ransomware viruses, worms, Trojan horses and spyware, there are times when a machine can be too heavily infected for the normal means of disinfection in that case we advise the customer to upgrade to a full service.

Absolutely excellent service from Steve at Cornwall Laptop and Computer Repairs with my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Replaced hard drive with a SSD on the pro and used old hard drive in a case as a USB storage device. The Air was factory reset to speed up tasks and make allot more user friendly. I was kept up to date on progress and both machines were turned round in super quick time and are now running better than new. Thank you for an awesome service

Went to Steve in March with a slow laptop, talked about replacing the hard drive but due to other faults he said it wasn’t worth doing. I acquired another laptop from a family member had the work done that he was going to do on my old laptop, deffo worth doing running so much smother.
