Owner and Director Steve Beckett has 40years’ experience in the domestic Gas & Plumbing industry having initially completed a six-year JIB Plumbing apprenticeship and subsequently moving into the domestic gas industry. We have extensive experience working in the leisure industry on holiday parks and in residential park home sites. The proprietor Steve Beckett was a really great find when our boiler packed up. He arrived on time, quickly identified the problem and fixed it there and then.

We first met Steve when our boiler died and it kept tripping the electrics for the whole house! He came out and sorted the issue as a temporary fix whilst he ordered us a new boiler and fitted it within days.
Since then he has sorted out another issue we had, and services our boiler annually to keep the wannabe valid. We get a useful reminded when this is due.
Every visit, Steve is polite, friendly, well presented, always cleans up any mess that comes with the job and is very easy to talk to. He provides us with the best advice and has so much knowledge – he knows we know nothing about boilers but he never takes advantage of this.
I would recommend Steve at BGS to everyone and look forward to seeing him again soon. Hopefully though, for an annual service and nothing major!

A1 service from Burnhams, I was struggling to get a gas engineer to come at short notice to sort my combi boiler out, but Steve answered my call 1st time and was there same day. Fixed my boiler, also brought my attention to a small gas leak outside (on a liquid tank) and fixed that too. Super friendly service, local and reasonably priced.
